Is this date/city correct? Was there a show in Dallas on the 14th? and 2. Does anyone have a correct setlist for this show? thanks aaron personal email would be appreciated as i probably won't see it in the list (digested for me). ----__ListProc__NextPart____LEFTOVER__digest_889 Date: Sun, 15 Mar 1998 21:13:42 -0600 From: --Reid Brecher To: leftover@lists.colorado.edu Subject: 3/28 Nashville Message-ID: MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: TEXT/PLAIN; CHARSET=US-ASCII hey, here's what i've been able to find out about this show. LoS is headlining the first ever "unity festival" at vanderbilt. pretty ironic for a school that's 90% white. anyway, it's pretty much going to be a frat thing. they're footing the bill and it's on frat-row. i'm not sure if it's going to be open to just students or the general public, but i'll keep trying to find out. needless to say it will probably turn into a block party for obnoxious drunk fraternity kids who could give a shit about the music being played. it's a shame they're playing there instead of 328 which is always a great atmosphere and great time. i'll pass on any new info when i hear it. later -Reid ----__ListProc__NextPart____LEFTOVER__digest_889 Date: Sun, 15 Mar 1998 23:15:55 -0500 From: dgold@anhonesttune.com (Daniel Gold) To: Leftover Salmon list Subject: AHT #3 update Message-ID: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Leftover Salmon appears in the latest issue of An Honest Tune magazine. There is the Table of Contents of the new issue of An Honest Tune magazine. We've been getting a lot of feedback on this issue, and we appreciate the kind words. Keep those postcards, submissions, and pictures coming, we love 'em and we print more each issue. For those of you that haven't seen this magazine yet, it is an effort put together by some folks who met on the Spreadnet originally. It's a new music magazine that covers WSP and a bunch of other great bands like LOS, Galactic, and Gov't Mule. This is a magazine by and for music fans, and so it's your magazine. We welcome contributions and ideas. An Honest Tune is a 40-page magazine with a color cover, that comes out 4 times per year. Our subscribers also get a newsletter in thier mailbox every month, called A Lingering Lead. We have a website, too. AHT Online -- http://www.anhonesttune.com -- is currently working on a couple of projects to keep you up to date on the latest Panic news while the band is on tour in Europe. Visit our online scrapbook called Snapshot Lightnin' to see daily reports on the tour. AHT is circulating over 1000 copies of each issue. A bunch of Spreadnetters and LOSers have subscribed, but a bunch have been waiting to see how this magazine would shape up. Things are looking pretty good from here, and I don't think you'd want to miss a single issue. Sure, you can get the tourdates and some reviews for free on the Internet, but you don't get a high quality hard-copy with color photos, great artwork, and well-written articles about music like Widespread Panic and others. AHT is something great to throw on your coffee table. If you want to just check it out, you can pick up a single issue at a head shop or record store in many places. If you're ready to subscribe, you'll be getting the magazine in your mailbox hot off the press, 4 times annually; plus you'll get the newsletter to keep you up to date each month that the magazine does not come out. So if you're thinking about it, go ahead and subscribe and get the new issue right away, AHT#3. ===To SUBSCRIBE, send a check for $25 to An Honest Tune, PO Box 781018, Orlando, FL 32878. A subscription to AHT gets you 4 quarterly magazines, 8 nearly monthly newsletters, and a free 25 word tape classified ad.=== Thanks Love, daniel Editor, An Honest Tune >Date: Fri, 20 Feb 1998 12:42:52 -0600 >From: Pat Goodwin >Subject: AHT #3 > >Went home for lunch to check the mail box for tape packages >none to be found but waiting there was the new AHT vol#1 no. #3 > >Looks like Daniel and crew have completely out done themselves this time ! >not much work is going to get done in this office this afternoon. >Amongst other things there is a great article about bootlegging sales on >page #26 >by Haney Jones . > >in his article Haney gives an address to a group we all need to support > > Traders against Bootleg Sales > 502 Main St. > Burbank Ca. 91506 > >I am subscriber #261 to AHT so there are alot of Spreadnetters who have not >subscribed to this great up and coming mag. > >Daniel could you post how to subscribe for everybody ? > > Peace > Pat ----__ListProc__NextPart____LEFTOVER__digest_889 Date: Mon, 16 Mar 1998 11:51:16 -0500 From: Andrew Cotton To: "misc.colleges":; Subject: GST update Message-ID: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Hello everybody. Now here's the deal. I took it to a repair place to get some work done on it. It has been there for a few days and when I called today, I was told that the deck has an idle problem and that it will take a considerable amount of work to fix it. I have tried to contact Nak. directly with my problem to see if there are any cheaper yet still reliable alternatives to my situation. I have received no word from them. I need to know if there is anyone that has a Nak MR2 that has had a similar problem, can point me in the direction on how to get this deck serviced by someone that is a Nak. service rep or how to get specs, info on the deck. I love the deck and would like to keep it, but I need to know some more information concerning it and the affordability or repairing it. Any information would be fantastic and a reward of a show from my list will be granted to anyone sending me the correct information to my dilemma.
