BTW- he's Big Head Todd's road manager and comedian in his spare mind. His usual singing gig is "Chevy Van" that he performs with local boulder band Swindle (yet more boulder band crew guys being rock stars, including Salmon's own lighting guy, John C.) thought you'd like to know... eric ----__ListProc__NextPart____LEFTOVER__digest_898 Date: Mon, 23 Mar 1998 22:26:12 -0600 From: rist95@ibm.net To: , , , Subject: Re: 3/21 A Mini-Zambiland!! (;-)> And, yes, they did this one at (correct me if I'm wrong, Glenn) the 02/14/98 show at Trees in (surprise!) DEEP ELLUM !! I won't even begin to attempt a review of the show. But I will say, as a long time 'Heavy Metal' fan (and therefore not prone to listening to very much Blue... uh, SlamGrass, etc.) I THOUROGHLY enjoyed EVERY minute of this Event. Among other things, I experienced a great 'audience participation' moment, to say the least. Thanx LoS ! See ya next time you're in Deep Ellum. P.S. Texas is indeed "larger than it appears", Vince ! It was my intention to put all of the overseas folks on the tree as leaves to minimize the cost to the the traders in the US. I didn't want to exclude anyone that signed up from getting tapes, but evidently messed up this one branch. I'm trying to find a couple of people that have already gotten their DAT copies or 1st gen cassette copies that are willing to take on 1 or 2 more analog people to try and finish out the tree. If I don't get any responses, I'll just go back to the original signups and hook up the leftover cassette folks with some of the people on the tree that agreed to make tapes for others that originally weren't required to. If anyone else has had problems with their "parents" on the tree, let me know. I'd like to try and get this wrapped up pretty soon. Thanks to everyone that participated in the tree. Hope you enjoyed the tunes.
