* * Sneakin' to the Love Street * *
by: Fricke

"Easy, girl, you're almost there..." Emily gave her friend a shove in the dark night.
"Dammit Em! You almost killed me!" Allison shouted from below. Forgotten that she could've woken up the whole dormitory people. Emily put her finger on her lips, before following her down. She held tight on the rope and slid down to the dark dormitory's backyard. "Do you have to take so long? Let's go!" Al was very impatient. Then the two girls tip-toed to the gate and climbed over. They managed to escape like they always had.

"Phew! It's good to be out, tell me it is, Em!"
"Yeah it's goooood!! You freaky little party animal, how can I let you force me to sneak out like this, AGAIN! If my parents found out, they'll kiss me good bye!"
"Hey you really like the dorm, do you? I only need you to accompany me every Tuesday Nights. Is that too much to ask?"
"I hate the dorm, Al. But I know we'll get trouble someday. Hey how about Steve?"
"He doesn't show up before 7, I leave. That's the catch."
"OK. But wait!"
"What now?" Al sighed at her company friend's ever-lasting blab.
"I've got a test tomorrow! It's a hard one, trust me! I've gotta go back, I can't stand  another C+ for the rest of the term!"
"WHAT????!!!!!! For Christ's sake, Em! Come baaaaack!!!!"

But Emily had disappeared, heading back to the dorm. Al started to run for her friend, but her ankle caught a tree stomp, and she fell flat. She was almost swearing, when suddenly somebody offered her a gentle hand. She took it, and getting up, she realized she was standing before a fine young man who was smiling kindly to her.

"Hi," she said, feeling her face warm. "Thanks for helping. Nasty scene, wasn't it?"
"No, not at all. I myself have done it thousand times! Accidents happen an awful lot, you know."
She laughed and held out her hand. "I'm Allison."
"Nice to meet you, Allison. I'm Brian. Just call me B-rok."
"Hi, B-rok! Um... have we ever met before? Your face seems familiar."
"Maybe. Are you sure you don't know who I am?"
She shook her head. "Honest! I don't know! Who are you?"
He smiled. "It's vain to let you know, but it's better than letting you wondering. Is it?"
"Yeah! Tell me!" Her heart was beating to curiosity.
Brian took a breath and sang quietly, "I tried to hide it so that noone knows, but I guess it shows..."
She gasped. Brian stopped. She hummed, "When you look into my eyes."
"Know me already?"
"Kinda." She blushed for knowing her new company was an international teen sensation. And also for not recognizing such famous person from the first place.
"Let's not talk about that. Care to join me for a dinner?"
"Sure. Where to go?"
"Well I'm new in the town. So why don't you show me where the best meal is cooked?"
"You got it. This way, please!" She grabbed his hand and led the way.

Allison and Brian had the time of their life when they ate together and when they strolled after getting a fruit punch for two.
"So you live in a dorm?"
"Yes. It's sucky, but what can I do?"
"And you sneak out like this every week? Naughty, naughty girl!" He patted her forehead softly. She giggled and tried to make an escape from his next fists. "You know what, I like you, B-rok. I really do. Not for what you are..."
"You do? Mean it? With all your heart?"
"I can't swear on that, but yeah, I think I do."
"I love you too, Allison!" He put his hand around her shoulders. She felt a warm feeling entered her chest.
"I didn't say I LOVE you, B, I only said 'LIKE'."
"Aren't they just sound the same!" he said, still making attempts to kiss her. She shove him away playfully. They laughed and chased each other.
Suddenly they heard loud screeching noise from afar. They turned on the corner to see what was happening. Bad move. Some girls who were swarming around Nick, caught sight of Brian and started running towards him.
"Uh-oh! Run!" he shouted. He pulled her in his arms and took her away from the crowd as fast as he could. They enjoyed it for a couple of moment, before a van pulled off beside them. The door opened, and AJ yelled from inside, "Get in!!" They agreed at once and the van took off.

Inside there was AJ driving, Kevin, Howie on the back, and Nick who was busy fixing his blond rustled hair.
"Wow you guys made it!" Brian said. "HOw did they find you?"
Nick sighed. "I took off my spectacle for a second, and BOOM! All these girls.... oh you don't wanna know." Nick spied Allison hanging on Brian's back.
"Aren't you gonna introduce us, Frick? How rude."
Brian grinned. "Sorry. Guys, meet Allie. Al, here's the guys."
"Hi, um, 'guys'!" she waved.
Kevin snorted. "What 'guys'? You really are rude, Cousin."
"I know. Hey Allie, you want to come to the hotel with us?" Brian asked. Hoping she would answer yes.
"Brian, you know I can't." she replied sadly. "I'm so sorry. Please put me off here. It's near my dorm."
AJ pulled the van. She stepped out, not caring Brian's hand was still clutching at her shirt. Brian followed her out. "You know I'm not gonna be here tomorrow?"
"I know."
"I had the bestest night tonight, Allie. I want you to know that."
"Me too, Brian. Good bye."
She was preparing to leave but Brian held her into his arms and kissed her. She didn't refuse and responded with a whisper, "I'm gonna miss you." She broke their lips apart and turned her back on him. She walked away trying to look strong.
"I love you!" was what she heard of Brian behind her.

The next night,

"Sorry I'm late, baby. I have troubles sneaking behind that evil roommate!" Steve said whilst kissing Allison's forehead. "YOu know how far the boys' dorm is from here. And um, sorry last night I wasn't able to take you out..."
Al shrugged. "That's alright. I had a blast last night."
"Yeah? With who? Emily?"
"No, with a guy."
"A what?! You met someone else out there? Who is he?"
"His name's Brian. Brian Littrell from BSB, B-rok."
Steve laughed. She glared at her boyfriend. "I'm serious, Steve!"
"Uh... uh yeah, sure, babe. Humph.." he broke off with laughter again.
"I can make a swear to death I went out with him! You don't trust me?"
"I do, I do! And I don't think you're trying to make me jealous either."
"Laugh as much as you want. I'm outta here."
"Where are we going tonight?"
"You can start of with appologizing, which it is necessary for you to buy things I like."
"OK. Such as?"
"I want the Backstreet Boys' CDs. Brian said they released two of them."
Steve broke out into series of laughter. Allison walk off without paying any attention. She was busy thinking of none other than B-rok.

The End.
