BSB's Brian in shoplifting scare

Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell was briefly detained by security guards in a US K-Mart store
after he was mistaken for a thief.
Brian was shopping with his fiancée Leighanne Wallace when the mix-up happened in the
Marietta store.
While excited female fans were mobbing Brian, a would-be thief attempted to scarper with a
TV set. Brian was just leaving the store when the security alarm went off and store guards
grabbed both the thief and the Backstreet Boy.
But it wasn't just the thief who had a spot of explaining to do. The cashier responsible for
ringing up Brian's bill was so distracted by the commotion she'd forgotten to deactivate the
security tag on one of the items he'd bought. The awkward matter was promptly cleared up
and Brian was released in a flurry of apologies.
