Green Day are a punk band (the best ever) from
the San Fransico Bay Area, in the sunny state of
Carlifonia. Their first album was 1,039/Smoothed
Out Slappy Hours, which came out in 1990 from Lookout Records.
Their next album was Kerplunk from Lookout in
1991, which made them popular nation-wide.
After Kerplunk, Green Day went to Warner Brothers
Reprise Records, which was bigger than
Lookout.
They became real famus in 1994 when they appeared
on the Woodstock festival, but when they
released their third album Dookie, (sold over
8 million ex.) every one with some music taste just loved it.
After Dookie, Green Day's lead singer, Billie
Joe Armstrong, got married and had a baby.
But my when I for the first time saw Basket Case
video I tought "what the f***, are these guy's
somekind of psycho´s (how wrong can a man
get).
Later I realised my big misstake when a friend
bought the album. So I ran down to the record store
and bought it. Since that day my live been changed.
And when I in 1995 heard what they presumably
would release their fourth album Insomniac, I
thanked to God all mighty, and bought it immediateley
it came to sweden.
Billie Joe says it is named Insomniac because
most of it's songs were written during sleepless
nights with his new baby. Since Insomniac, Tre
has also gotten married. Now the gang have realised there 5:th album Nimrod,
wich is the best punk album for now, according to the group and Billy says
that Nimrod is there best record ever. The Nimrod album have also showed
a other side of Green Day where Good Riddence is a step a side from there
ordinary hard green punk.

Billie father was a truck driver and he also played
drums in a jazz band, but he died when
Billie was only 10 in cancer. His mother was
at that time working as a waitress in a local
bar.
Billes first recording was "Looking for love",
after that it a went very fast and in ´94 Billie
married his long time girlfriend Adrienne Nesser.
Just the day after the new married couple
discovered that Adrienne was pregnant, and in
March 1995 Adrienne gave birth to thier
baby, Joseph Marcicano Armstrong.

Mike Drint formerly Micheal Pritchard had not
so very good childhood, with a mother who
was heroin addict and when Mike was seven his
adoptive parents (who he had been sent
to) divorce. During this time Mike took alot
of small works including a job at the bar where
Billies mother worked as a waitress.
And during a short period Mike also rented a
part of the Armstrongs house. But in august
1996 Mike married Anastasia who had been his
girlfriend for a while, and about one year
later in april ´97 Mike and Anastasia had
a daughter who the named Estelle-Desiree.
Tre Cool

Edwin Wright III
Born: December 9,
1972. Birthplace : Willits, California

Eye Color : Blue
Tre Cool born Frank Edwin Wright III, was born
in Mendocino Mountains together with his
two seblings. They were raised by Tre´s
father who was a Vietnam veteran, with the good
knowledge of how to build houses.
One of Tre´s neighbours was the founder
of Lookout Records which later became Green
Day´s first record company. When Green
Day had released thier first record 39/Smooth
the drummer John Kiffmeyer no longer want to
continue with Green Day and at that time
Tre was the natural choice for the band.
The rest of the story we all know and in 1995
Tre got married to his fiancée Lisea Lyons,
and the same year they got a little daughter
called Ramona, but unfortunately it didn´t
work out and they separated.
