Gob have four members in the band. They formed in the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada in a place called Langley, British Columbia. They have toured across Canada four times, battling it out in their tour van for many weeks. Gob have also toured across the United States several times, usually on west cost tours, and also a 36 state, 3 month long tour in the summer of 1996. Gob's music is heavy, melodic, and agressive. More than the typical punk band. Gob brought out their album "Too Late No Friends" on Mint reccords, but are no longer with them. Mint for some reason decided not to renew their one album deal because apparently gob did not "fit in" or "represent" the reputation of Mint reccords. Gob were some dissapointed and also losing a partner who helped spread their music across Canada gob decided to go on tour. This tour turned out to be the best ever, their shows sold out to crowds of all ages all over Canada. That was when Mint realized they had made a very big mistake.
Gob now have a new bass player and are writing and writing more songs. New gob songs are writted by Pat, Theo and Tom. Gob planned and did conquer the world when they tour North America and Europe in 1997.

1995 - Dildozer 7" EP WAS RELEASED, APRIL: GREEN BEANS AND ALMONDS 7" EP AND SEPTEMBER "TOO LATE NO FRIENDS" was released. THEY THEN TOURED FOR 8 MONTHS ALL AROUND NORTH AMERICA, THE VIDEO'S SODA & YOUR TOO COOL WERE PLAYED ON MUCH MUSIC
- 1997 Gobs BIGGEST YEAR SO FAR LANDSPEED/POSITIVE RECORDS JOIN TOGETHER TO TAKE CANADA TO ANOTHER LEVEL. ASS SEEN ON TV A SPLIT WITH ANOTHER JOE WAS RELEASED ON VINYL AND CD FORMAT. A VIDEO FOR B-FLAT WAS MADE IN SUPPORT OF IT.AND A TOUR WAS ALSO DONE. GOBS VERSION OF DURAN DURAN'S VIEW TO A KILL WAS RELEASED ON MOJO RECORDS TRIBUTE TO DURAN DURAN. GOB WAS THE ONLY CANADIAN BAND ON THE RELEASE. OTHER BANDS INCLUDED DEFTONES & THE MR T EXPERIENCE.
- GOB JUST RELEASED THEIR NEW FULL LENGTH ALBUM, ON FEARLESS RECORDS AS WELL AS LANDSPEED RECORDS, IT IS CALLED "HOW FAR SHALLOW TAKES YOU", IT HAS 16 GREAT PUNK TUNES AS WELL AS BEAUVILLE WHICH THERE IS ALSO A NEW VIDEO FOR.
