TECHNOTRONIC - "GET UP (The ´98 Sequel)" TECHNOTRONIC is back! 8 years after the first release of their mega - seller "Get Up" TECHNOTRONIC want to show once again what they are fit for. The burning idea for TECHNOTRONIC had the Belgian producer Jo Bogaert alias Thomas de Quincy who created the notorious sound in his attic studio near Brussels. Between 1989 and 1992 TECHNOTRONIC had undoubtedly the charts completely under control. Their most successful chart breaker include hits like "Rockin' Over The Beat", "This Beat is TECHNOTRONIC" and "Pump Up The Jam". Together with TECHNOTRONIC it was D.O.N.S. who re - recorded "Pump Up The Jam" and at present they liven up the German dance charts. With "Get Up" TECHNOTRONIC had world - wide charts entries and numerous GOLD and PLATINUM distinctions in more than 30 countries which announces that TECHNOTRONIC is evidently no "One Hit Wonder". But in 1994 the group broke up with the leaving of Manuela Kamosi alias Yah Kid K who already brought in the vocals for "Pump Up The Jam" because she wanted to care more for her family. In 1990 "Get Up" was in the charts for the first time. Now 8 years after the great wave of success TECHNOTRONIC comes back with new recorded songs. Now it is Derya who takes over the rap passages at TECHNOTRONIC. She was born on August 16th in 1976 in Istanbul. Now she lives in London where she left behind a great college carrier. She studied at the Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts Ballet, Theatre, Jazz and choreography. Later she collected experiences in television shows and various theatre productions. She has also spent some time as a model on the cat walk. Derya's first steps into the world of music did she when she joined the girl - group "Chica" and from now on she sent different hits into the world of music. In order to present TECHNOTRONIC quite in style Derya is supported by two strong male dancers.
