"musou" means 'dream' or 'vision' and "reki" means
'calender'...
hide chan produced 6 musourekis, six calenders composed
of
visions and dreams!
And with this page I want to introduce them shortly.
The musourekis started in 1993...
Musoureki 1993
This calender is DinA 1 poster
size and has 9 posters including the
cover sheet.
The photos are from the same
photo session as the Mugongeki
Photoalbum with lots of background
design. There is something special about this calnder since the first sheet
after the cover sheet is of very thin and
delicate paper through which
you can see the next sheet, the next sheet
is some sort of negative from
the first sheet and the two of them
together make a very nice and
scary effect (laugh).
.
Musoureki II 1994
The second musoureki is about
DinA 3 size when closed and of course
DinA 2 when opened. It has
12 pages and the pictures are mostly taken from
the promotion sessions for
"Hide Your Face" Album and the shooting
of "Eyes Love You" promotion
video.
The best photo is hide chan
in the Kuwait Desert with an Arab board
next to him probably saying
"restricted area" and burning oil-wells in
the background reflecting the
Golf War...
.
Musoureki III 1995
All the musourekis are great...
but this one is really special...
It has 365 pages! (laugh)...
Hide chan for every day of the year!!!
98% of the photos are from
the "Hide Our Psychommunity Tour", the
rest are some '94 PR session
photos (Fool's Mate 12/94).
Really very nice to have hide
chan for every day... (laugh)... The size is about
DinA 5... at the bottom of
each page there is some space for notes, so
one could also use this calender
as a diary.
.
Musoureki IV 1996
The Doohikie Calender! "hide
singing ditties for money"?
That's the subtitle of this
calender! (laugh)
It seems hide chan was very
fond of this calender
himself... when you take a
good look at the "his invincible deluge evidence"
video, you see the cover sheet
of this calender hanging in hide chan's
homein L.A.! This one is a
poster DinA 1 size calender again and it is
pretty hard to read the days
on this basically 6 sheet calender, sometimes
they go round in circles and
so on! (laugh)... There are a few more sheets
in this calender one is especially
for the 9th of June... So it reads 6 and 9...
6 and 9... 69...???!!!
Rings a few bells right? Beauty
and Stupid... for example...
anata konomi no 69... ehhh...
And there is another special
sheet for the
1st of January and a last sheet
with scenes from all months.
The photo session for this
calender was part of the shooting of
"Misery" PR video and also
shows up in Fool's Mate issue 1/96.
.
Musoureki V 1997
Dekai!!!! Means "BIG"!!! This
calender has a tremendous size! (laugh)
Somewhat bigger than DinA 0
(laugh)... Just one very big sheet and
hide chan somewhere commented
that the fans should take it appart to a
size convenient for them...
(laugh)... so that's what I did as well... I made
4 smaller posters out of this
calender, 3 months on each sheet...
Photos are partly from "Psyence"
Album PR and from the
UV magazine No.10
.
Musoureki VI 1998
Together with Musoureki III
my absolute favourite... the reason why is
that I am a big movie fan...
and to see hide chan posing in modified
movie posters is just gyaaaaaaaa...
Unfortunately the size is a
little bit small, just DinA 6 or so, because basically this calender is
a pocket timer, yellow plastic, something to put in
your pen, then the calender
and in the back an address book and some
sheets for notes and more plastic
to hold some
business cards and stuff like
that.
The calender does not only
consist of the movie posters
but there are some other hide
chan photos as well, hide chan in Tokyo,
in Lemoned shop, rowing boats,
hanging around in a park (Ueno??)...
And the movie posters are:
The Godknows Pest II (Godfather
Part III)
Twee Peaks (Twin Peaks)
The Shindig (The Shining)
The Crown (The Crow)
Clackwork Optical (A Clockwork
Orange)
Petrify Games (Patriot Games)
Chapman (Charlie Chaplin)
The Silhouette of the Lamps
(The Silence of the Lambs)
The Doozer (The Doors)
Unchain Addiction (The Chainsaw
Massacre?)
Scarehead (Scarface?)
I am not 100% sure about the
Scareface and the Chainsaw Massacre though,
(laugh) but the others I can
guarantee (laugh). If you want to see the respective movie posters, go
to hide chan's HP to
hide's voice '98, there you
can see them all...
And hide chan I am a big Stanley
Kubrick fan too!!!!!! (laugh)
.
So... hope you liked my short
introduction of the Musourekis... sorry
for not having so many pictures
this time... but poster size is hard to
