I'll try to review as many parties as I go to for you. I don't know how much of a help they will be because most of my reviews are positive ones. I have fun no matter where I go!

California Collective

This was a fun party, and it was only an hour and a half away from my house! (That's close for me.) My friends and I got there at about 11:30, and we received a free CD when we got in. It was located in an little arena-like building in San Bernadino. Even though my boyfriend fell asleep on the bleachers, I still managed to have a blast. I stayed in the trance room during Charles Feelgood's excellent set, then went outside to the jungle area to look for my friends. I'm not much of a jungle person, but it looked like it was going off outside, too. The only big problem I had at the party was that it was extremely hot and steamy inside, and freezing cold outside. So no matter where I went, I was uncomfortable. It wasn't shoulder to shoulder packed like a lot of indoor parties, so that was nice. I had enough room to do some dancing. I met a lot of really cool people that night, and I'm glad that I went.

IT

This was my first time at Fox Theater, and my last! I have never been to a hotter, more crowded and disgusting venue! None of the sinks worked in the bathroom, mystery liquids were everywhere, and it was so steamy, i could have fried eggs on the floor! For a large portion of the night, I walked around asking people if they knew who was spinning, and *nobody* knew anything! Only one person I met that night could tell me who was spinning at certain times. I danced the entire time I was there in both the house and jungle areas. The music was OK. I just wish I knew who came on at certain times! I met this cool girl, and we partied together. She knew the guy throwing the party, so we got to dance on the stage for a little bit. That was pretty cool. It was an all right party. Kinda reminded me of the Glasshouse, though.

Fuzzy (the one in june of 1999)

It was a Glasshouse party. It was hot. It was crowded. Security was mean. Mystery liquid covered the floor, the walls, my face, and my clothes. The music was all right. There was live music. I forgot the name of the band. It doesn't really matter. They weren't that great, anyways. Thee-O spun that night, but I missed it, since I didn't get there until right after his set. What made this party fun wasn't the music, it wasn't the venue (it *definately* wasn't the venue), but being with my closest friends. We danced all night long together, and we had a blast!

If you went to a party and have something to say about it, feel free to e-mail me your review and I'll post it here. Also, if you know of any good rave-related links that you think belong here, go ahead and send me that, too. If you want me to add a link to your own site, put a link to my site on your page. Then send me your URL and I will definately add it on here!
