TEKITO RECORDS PRESENTS A FIVE PRONGED ASSAULT ON THE FABRIC OF REALITY

In today's glutted musical climate, it's necessary to beat people relentlessly about the head in order to gain their attention. With this millennial dispatch of unbridled audio lunacy, Vas Deferens Organization and it's related bands Sound and Muz are wielding the biggest stick anywhere. The audio by-product of maniacally obsessed music collectors, Vas Deferens Organization, Sound and Muz are collectively driven in their intent to explore, from every conceivable angle, the myriad tactics and modalities of the last 30+ years of radical fringe music making. Cartographers illuminating far flung sonic netherworlds, the musicians of Vas Deferens Organization, Sound and Muz have condensed and distilled a mutant, industrial strength cocktail of genre-fucking juxtapositions informed by, but not limited to: 70's European Psych/Prog/Space music particularly of a French, Italian or Scandinavian extraction, Krautrock, early Eighties Japanese experimental rock, the fractured end of New Wave and No Wave, Rock In Opposition, Nurse With Wound and the L.A. Free Music Society axis, the skewed kitsch and exotica of Stock Hausen & Walkman / Dummy Run, Tipsy and Tom Recchion, the mutantly Musical late 60's electronic music of Mort Garson, Bruce Haack, Ron Geesin, Tom Dissevelt and Beaver & Krause and the nebulous region of post-Residents, post-Beefheart art damage exemplified by bands like The Blitzoids, Decayes and Brad Laner's pre-Medicine unit Steaming Coils. The wormholes we've burrowed into consensus reality have carved their way to the top reaches of college radio (top ten in Athens GA, Cleveland OH & Chapel Hill NC among several others). This is aN unexpected and baffling blessing and all the more reason to ratchet up the madness and psychological toll wrought by our music yet further. Unhinging minds is our business and business is good.

ELECTRIC COMPANY AND VAS DEFERENS ORGANIZATION

- "MORE PELVIS WICK FOR THE BALONEY BONERS" C.D. The second collaboration between former Medicine and current Electric Company and Amnesia head honcho Brad Laner and Vas Deferens Organization following 1996's "Transcontinental Conspiracy". A live collaboration recorded earlier this year at the newly relocated New Orleans headquarters of V.D.O. Studios and subsequently processed at Brad Laner's Lab of Happy Dreams, this confounding confection will bugger all expectations. Can/Miles propulsion and Nervous Gender-like electronic no-wave aggression get swept through a tide of Tuxedomoon cum Fibonaccis electro-pop aberrations and fed through the gaping maw of Electric Company's patented computer annihilation. Brace yourself.

VAS DEFERENS ORGANIZATION

- "DRUG BUBBLES" C.D. From the insidious plotting of unsound minds comes this object lesson in the ludicrous and sublime. Quite possibly V.D.O.'s masterstroke, this 20 piece patchwork quilt in three discreet suites is a lavish buffet of drug music methodologies and seratonin depleting treats. Cluster's cyclically disjointed muse and Moebius and Plank's loping wooze get set adrift on a stream of Franco Battiato and Pierrot Lunaire's elliptical surrealist acid ooze as a cavalcade of drug music luminaries from Aphrodite's Child to Thierry Zaboitzeff drift by on hallucinogen fueled outboard canoes. An epic piece of audio ass for your psychotropically lubricated psyche's to bask in.

SOUND

- "DRUNK ON CONFUSION" C.D. A Herculean mindfuck for the millennium, this genre-obliterating debut C.D. from V.D.O. member Eric Lumbleau's new band in collaboration with former V.D.O. member Jim Edgerton and Jethro Tilton mastermind Joel Zoch will invade your aural cavity and untether the moorings of your sanity. Early Severed Heads-like woozily looping oddities are strained through a scrim of Floydian psychedelic grandiosity as several threads of the 70's French underground sound from Eskaton and Archaia's zeuhl-inspired operatic sturm and drang to Igor Wakhevitch and Jean Pierre Massiera's surrealistically apocalyptic electronic gang bang get woven through a macramé miasma of Dadaist ditherings that lurch from the dizzy kitsch of Tipsy, Tom Recchion, Stock Hausen & Walkman and Sylvie And Bab's era Nurse With Wound to the fever pitched giddy grotesqueries of Japanese avant-pop oddballs Picky Picnic, Haniwa Chan, After Dinner and Wha Ha Ha. An acid altered dissertation on discombobulation for the absurdist aficionado to fall down to.

MUZ featuring Frankie Teardrop

- "BANANA IN PORTUGUESE" C.D. The second release from V.D.O. member Matt Castille's solo project following 1998's self titled L.P., here aided by Frankie Teardrop (a.k.a. Doug Ferguson of V.D.O., Ohm and Yeti). Scattered with the influences of an unlikely array of audio innovators, this unsettling sonic slurry cross-pollinates the morbid menace of Holger Czukay and Conny Plank's Les Vampyrettes project and Art Zoyd leader Thierry Zaboitzeff's early solo works with the woozy melodicism of the Tuxedomoon offshoot Joeboy and the perky playfulness of The Art Of Noise. The forced conjoining of antithetical impulses executed here has resulted in a litter of mongoloid progeny sowing the seeds of madness in an exponentially escalating web of confusion. Ghoulish good humor and sinister spunkiness never sounded better.

ELECTRIC VOODOO

- "STAYIN POWERS" C.D. Recently completed before the untimely demise of project instigator Taimer (R.I.P.) and produced, arranged and stamped with the sonic imprimatur of V.D.O.'s Matt Castille, this malignant disc documents an authentic New Orleans voodoo ceremony in full swing with the whole proceeding ensconced in a threatening electronic veneer informed by Igor Wakhevitch and Mort Garson's "Black Mass Lucifer". Fun for boys and girls of all agesŠ

Five installments of sonic sorcery for your sense deforming satisfaction. We're drugged to the gills and ready for action. Are you?
